I was immediately inspired to make this colourway after some recent ridiculousness around the name of the lake and Nancy Wheeler of Knit Sip Happy's decision to run a KAL for her Lake Ontario pattern. Although the pattern was originally designed for Knit City Toronto 2024, this is the perfect moment to bring it back.

Please note: the Lake Ontario Socks pattern is written for sock weight yarn only. Rockin DK won’t work for the pattern — but if you just need this colour in your life in a DK weight, I completely understand.
Care
Machine washable. Recommend hand wash in cool water. A drop of soap can be added if needed. You only need to saturate the item and gently remove. Lay flat to dry.
All skeins are thoroughly washed and rinsed to remove excess dye — some minimal colour run off may still occur, particularly in the first wash.
Working with Hand-Dyed Yarn
Due to the nature of hand-dyed yarn, colours can vary from one batch to another and within the same pot. Please ensure you purchase enough yarn for your project, and alternate skeins for the most consistent result.
